Great
season so far. Some awesome fish and fun. We spent most our time down
on the South OP away from the masses; it was good. If this is on your
agenda for 2013, We suggest you get on the calendar for Feb/March

I
am going to have to 'eat crow' here as I said in my last newsletter
the only glove material I like is the old fashioned all natural wool.....It
is true that I still like old fashioned wool, but there is a product
now that I feel is an awesome glove. I have not tried their fingerless
model as it is not out yet, but the fully fingered, Swinger/Steelhead
glove is awesome.
The full fingered version isn't cheap - But you get what you pay for!
The Kast Steelhead glove is hardcore

Tip
Dry
fly skwala fishing can be a bit unpredictable; For that matter all
fishing is a bit unpredictable. One of the things I often here anglers
say about Skwala dry fly fishing is ..... " I didn't see any
fish rising where I was so I didn't use the dry".
Regardless of how many
adults there are, present on the water, the fish know they are there.
Fish make there living on eating the predominant insects and food
sources of the season.
So with that in mind searching
and prospecting likely water with an adult pattern is often how we
find fish during the Skwala hatch. There is no doubt that we find
fish here and there visibiy eating the Skwala, but is more the exception.

A true story that keeps you
guessing and at the same time makes you wonder how intricate espionage
and counter espionage is. In the big picture, our daily life is mundane
to the lives these agents live. A bit tough to follow the plot some times
and maybe a little slow here and there but certainly well acted by Hellen
Miren, Sam Worthington and Tom Wilkinson.
The remarkable thing about
this movie is that it is TRUE!
This time piece stars Emma
Stone and Viola Davis and is set in the 60's and portrays the life of
African American women in the "nanny roles" for middle class
caucasian American families. Emmma Stone portrays a young author who decides
to write about the 'nannys' perspective and ends up "Rocking the
boat'. The hypocrisies run deep in this film and the bittersweet plight
is hard to swallow at times. Well acted and a great film!
A 2012 Martin Scorsese 3D film starring Asa Butterfiel,
Chloe Grace Maretz and Christopher Lee.
The movie his been plagued with serious mixed reviews from the public.
The cinematography was splendid and most who give it a review say the
same. Where the movie is lacking, according to many, is the story line.
Admittedly the story line is a bit 'light and variable', however it is
sweet and in a complex crazy world that we live, rather refreshing.
It started slow and at one point seemed to 'stall
out' a bit. The second half certainly is the closer.
