Born and raised in Montana, the outdoors have always been a part of my life. When I was nine, my dad landed a record-holding Pacific Blue Marlin. It had a profound impact and has directed me to where I am today.
During college at the University of Montana, I began learning to guide for trout. In addition to trout, I learned to cast a two-handed rod and fish for steelhead on the Clearwater River in Idaho. Graduating with conservation based degrees, I dedicated myself to building my guide career and preserving the resources.
While in Missoula, I proudly spent eight years with Blackfoot River Outfitters. Along with guiding, I developed their Learn to Fly Fish and Women’s Program.
In the trout off season, I traveled to Oregon to expand my guiding skills. I explored much of the Columbia Basin, specifically the Klickitat… one of my favorites.
Eventually, the obsession of steelhead transferred me to Washington. With the Evening Hatch, I spend my autumns on the Klick guiding with my boyfriend, Ricky.
Guiding has defined my life, for that, I am very fortunate. I look forward to many more years of connecting.
