Thank you for building a rod specifically for this type of fishing. It is required. Hucking BIG stuff like Buford’s Musky fly or a 7 inch articulated cone head streamer for trout, or a large top water popper for GT’s requires the right tool. The Payload is just that.
The stiff tip combined with the softer butt section gives the rod ‘feel’ while not compromising it’s backbone for the elements. (sounds a little wierd – make sure to clarify what you are discussing, especially in public)
