YAKIMA    The fishing on the Yakima has been spot on recently with Baetis, October Caddis, Crane flies as the ‘bugs dejour’.   Isolated zones of fish on Baetis have been a highlight.  Searching with October Caddis, Craneflies and the Streamer have been thumbs up as well.

KLICKITAT Overall tough numbers but makes you appreciate every fish encountered.   The swing fishing has been worthy with multiple techniques including skating, just subsurface and heavier tips.  Water temps have dropped quite a bit this past couple days which will have an effect on surface activity.

UPPER COLUMBIA Not the consistent fall expected but the river has had some highlights the past two months…..Tactics have varied utilizing the dry fly, nymph and the retrieve or swung fly.  Hatches have been light this fall.
