YAKIMA RIVER The river is in great shape currently……..

Here is the report from now until April.  (pretty much a repeat for the last 27 years, because when we started 30 years ago,  the river was not open year round.)

 

Some days the catching is going to be great, some average and some less than.  The fishing however should be great everyday.  Watch for days when the water temp is not dropping drastically. Sometimes when there are weather fronts,  that can actually be good. Why? Because there is cloud cover to hold the heat in.  Conversely, when there are blue skies at this time of year it typically means CLEAR and COLD = dropping water temps.  Current water temps are 37.5-40.5 depending on time and zone.
